I want to share a little bit about our history.

My name is Florencia Mansilla and my father is Daniel Mansilla, we both born in Rosario, Argentina and we both have Gelato in our blood!

La Argentina Gelato & coffee is the new generation of “Heladerias La Argentina” that were founded 31 years ago in Maracaibo, Venezuela.

After living in Houston for 10 years, in June 2016, I decided to continue with the family tradition and opened the first La Argentina Gelato & Coffee in Katy, TX. 

In February 2019 we opened our second location in Houston and is also the place where we have our laboratory and where we manufacture the gelato and other products.

Like since the beginning we had been working with passion and dedication to please our customers offering quality, originality and excellence in our products.

We try to make all our flavors natural, with no artificial colors and flavorings.

We love to share something that comes from our culture and at the same time is our family tradition.

My father Daniel at a very young age began working in Argentina in one of the most important Ice cream factories in the region. He decided to immigrate to Venezuela and we finally all moved in 1983 where from 1985 to 2003 in Maracaibo he opened 8 shops and one Ice cream industrial factory.

I am a Journalist /Entrepreneur and cooking lover. Gelato is my favorite dessert and that is why I am very picky when it come to creating a new flavor.

I love to cook, I have attended many cooking courses, I learned to make gelato since I was little with my father and also traveled to Italy to specialize in new trends and new products to make gelato.
